Suggest a Fishing Location We Can Consider
Help improve Getfished location coverage by suggesting fishing spots, landmarks, waterways, or local fishing areas for future review.
Some fishing locations are known by informal, historical, or local names and may be difficult to identify accurately.
Helpful details can include nearby towns, waterways, landmarks, piers, boat ramps, beaches, or commonly used fishing names.
Not all submitted locations can be added or verified.

Submitting A Location To Getfished
We welcome your location submissions. Please note that each submission is reviewed and considered before adding to the database. Sometimes a location can be known by many different names. For example “The Warmies” in Newport Victoria is sometimes called “The Hotties”. In instances like this we will choose the existing location instead of adding an otherwise duplicate location.
In some cases a location might not have sufficient data immediately and adding the location will then be delayed until we add the missing information.
Getfished is currently mainly focussed on Australian Locations. So in most instances only Australian locations will be published. However, we may, at our discretion, add locations outside of Australia from time to time.
Please try and be as accurate as you can in providing location details. This helps us in accurately determining the coordinates and region under which we add your suggestion. The more information you can provide the better we can help by adding it.
